Held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hillside, this concert features our advanced ensemble. Students of all ages participate in a "play-down" of beloved Suzuki repertoire. Graduates from books, and their families, are honored with a special ceremony.

Solo Festival

Students have the opportunity to perform a polished solo, with accompaniment, for a judge. This exciting opportunity is included in the price of tuition, and it is encouraged that all participate. Professional violinists from the Chicagoland area are invited to be judges at this special event, and give invaluable feedback and a fresh perspective to students. This is an opportunity not to be missed!

Christmas Concert

December 3, 2023

A favorite among STEP families, this concert features the advanced ensemble playing well-loved classical Christmas pieces, such as O Holy Night, and the Vivaldi and Telemann concertos for four violins. Students of all levels participate in favorite Christmas carols, including Carol of the Bells, Silent Night, Joy to the World, and others. The beautiful music and the twinkling Christmas tree at Immanuel Lutheran Church are sure to put you in the holiday spirit.

Each year in addition to our Christmas concert, our students participate in an outreach event and perform favorite holiday carols at a local assisted living facility. We believe in the importance of giving back to the community, and of sharing our love of music with others.
